Salt and Starlight

What if a powerful goddess has a vendetta against your family?

Alexia Sfakianakis has spent her entire life thinking the curse was just an old island tale. Until, days before her twenty-first birthday, strange things begin happening around her. A child plays a melody she shouldn’t know. The fishermen return with empty nets tangled with rotting seaweed. The sea has come to collect its debt.

To break the curse, something generations of women before her never dared attempt, Alexia must defy a vengeful goddess–and question every decision her family has ever made along the way. Torn between her first love and the man who offers something far more dangerous, Alexia must learn the difference between the choice the curse demands of her and the choice that is truly hers.

Lush, mythic, and aching with the weight of inherited trauma, Salt and Starlight asks the oldest question of all: when everything is stripped away, what makes us who we are? And how much are we willing to pay for the answer?

The sea remembers. The gods are watching. And Alexia’s birthday is just the beginning.
