Salted Butter: Part Two

She can't remember. But she wrote it all down.

River has left Michael. She's back in her old bedroom at her mum's, with a box of journals and a notebook that says Day One. But Michael doesn't let go of anything he thinks he owns.

If he can't control River, he'll control what everyone thinks of her. Her boss. Her doctor. The mental health team who turn up on her mum's doorstep, because Michael is her nearest relative, and he's very, very worried.

He has her wages. He has her job. He has a story everyone believes. All River has is fifteen years of her own handwriting, and the one man who has never once lied to her.

Salted Butter: Part Two is a raw, gripping story about coercive control, the systems that fail to see it, and the long fight to be believed.
