Can we lose our salvation? What does the Bible say? The Salvation Bible Commentary focuses in on this key issue and is designed for quick and easy access to explanations from scholars and men of faith on commonly misunderstood texts. All of the difficult passages that seem to show that salvation cannot be lost are explained. Universalism's primary texts are addressed here. Calvinist "proof texts" are all addressed in this one volume. John 6, Romans 9, Ephesians 1, etc. all explained with great clarity. Quotes from Christians writing as early as the 2nd century, clearly demonstrating that they did not believe in the Once Saved Always Saved doctrine. Multiple commentaries on one passage! A virtual library of information on this important subject in one single volume! The Salvation Bible Commentary clearly explains hundreds of key Bible passages, presenting commentary from the works of Henry Alford, James Arminius, Joseph Benson, Adam Clarke, Charles Ellicott, Clement of Alexandria, Irenaeus, Jason Kerrigan, Justin Martyr, Heinrich Meyer, Origen, Tertullian, Marvin Vincent, John Wesley, Daniel Whedon and more! Whether you are a serious scholar or just a casual Bible student, whether you are debating the subject or just seeking answers for yourself, this book is designed to thoroughly equip you with the answers you need. (Note: This same book is also published under the title The Arminian Bible Commentary. Furthermore, this is sometimes incorrectly listed as an "abridged version." However, there is no "abridged" version of this book, so please disregard any such mention. This book has gone through numerous editions due to editing, but none of those editions were abridgments.)
