Salvation

SALVATION:

IT'S NOT WHAT I THOUGHT IT WAS

Advice & encouragement for disillusioned believers

So you walked the aisle and prayed the "sinner's prayer." Now what? Is that all there is to salvation? Absolutely not. Salvation is the beginning-not the end-of the story. In this fresh approach to true Christianity, veteran Pastor Don R. Vining shows people of all ages how to:

• Be in Christ; not merely of Christ
• Tell if you are a giver, taker, or jerk
• Grow in this thing called grace
• Stand firm in hard times
• Rejoice in hope
• Prime the prayer pump
• Forgive others--especially jerks
• Make inward changes, with outward results

Becoming like Christ is a lifelong journey, and the author uses wit and humor to encourage Christians of all ages to weed out false ideas-and get excited about the trip. Grab a copy and find out what kind of relationship Christ wants to have with you. It is so much more than most of us have ever dreamed!

"It's more than a prayer in your head

-it's a birth in your heart"
