His two most recent books are The True Meaning of Christmas: The Birth of Jesus and the Origins of the Season (Augustine Institute Press / Ignatius Press, 2021) and The Historical Jesus and the Temple: Memory, Method, and the Gospel of Matthew (Cambridge University Press, forthcoming). He lives in Aurora, CO, with his wife Kimberly and their six children.
