About the Author

Perry has been a programmer and trainer since the early 1980s. He received his first degree in computer science and a master's degree in corporate finance. Perry's books have sold more than 2 million copies worldwide. He has authored bestselling books that include Sams Teach Yourself Office XP in 24 Hours, Absolute Beginner's Guide to C, Teach Yourself Visual Basic 6 in 21 Days, and Sams Teach Yourself Windows XP in 24 Hours. He has written about rental-property management and loves to travel.
