About this Item

A clean and crisp 3-volume set of non-uniform reprints from the early 1940s. The first 2 volumes were published in 1943, the final volume in 1942. The spines are pretty uniform in appearance without the jackets on (see image), but the jacket of the opening volume has 'Fourth Impression' on its spine, unlike its companions which do not state an impression (see image). The dust jackets are lightly marked, and the final volume has a small area of loss at the head of the spine, but none have been price-clipped and overall they are in very good condition. The middle volume has a few small blemishes on the front free endpaper, and the opening volume a few marginal blemishes, but overall this is a very good hardback set.
