Sand and Water

The crisis of one stopped heart ignites the healing of two others, as Marc and an enchanting newcomer race to perform CPR on a fallen man in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Two strangers, wary survivors of love gone bad, become ardent lovers pledging their lives together in a Cape Cod chapel. Their happiness and future appear as bright as the summer sun blazing overhead, but a mortal threat gathers in the dark. A rogue wave of crushing, personal heartbreak surges their way, endangering love, faith, and life itself.

With the sands of time running fast, the lovers make a desperate, trackless journey from fear to hope amidst the soaring Rocky Mountains and high plains of the desert Southwest, and the bewitching Yucatan peninsula.

Imbued with magical realism, wryly humorous yet profound, Sand & Water chronicles an unexpected plunge into mixed waters, salty and sweet, earthly and mystical, to explore the wellspring of laughter and grief. The endurance of love is given creative and tender treatment in this evocation of love lost and found.
