The Sanitary Drainage of Houses and Towns. By George E. Waring Jr. And printed in New York City by Hurd and Houghton. 1876, 366 pp, 7.75 x 5.25 , 8vo, hardcover full cloth. Overall very good, with light rubbing and wear to edges and corners of exterior. Hinges remain in good condition and text block remains bound well. Light markings and marginalia at front. General age-related toning to pages, along with periodic foxing and wear. Please see photographs and ask any questions prior to purchasing. A scarce piece on sewage treatment and reforming sanitary practices by George E. Waring Jr. (1833-1898), an American civic reformer and sanitary engineer.
