Russell Ince was born in 1980 on the Isle of Wight, a small island off of the South coast of England.
Like most children, he loved Christmas, but this love grew through his teens, into adult life. Having married his wife Claire, in December. They then honeymooned in Lapland and returned to launch their own Christmas decoration business.
Russell is a professional graphic designer by trade, but also attended film school at Universal Studios in Hollywood where he studied screenwriting under the likes of Shrek and Pirates of The Caribbean writer Terry Rossio and producer, writer and director John Favreau best know for blockbusters such as Iron Man and Elf.
As soon as Russell had got over the shock of discovering Santa Claus had entrusted him with the journal containing the secrets of Christmas, he took a break from his day job in order to pursue this magical quest.
After months locked away in his office, Santa Claus: The Book of Secrets was finally ready to share with the world.
