There is a long list of photographers whose work was selected for this title which features the first-generation diesels of the minority builders on the roster. Most locomotives are painted in the blue and yellow paint scheme used before the yellow warbonnet. The original delivery paint schemes start out the photographic coverage of each model. Most locomotives were delivered in the black with silver or white stripes paint scheme. Some of these photographs are in B&W as the delivery paint schemes appeared before color film was commonly used by rail enthusiasts. There are quite a few pictures of the ALCO PAs. That locomotive was in my opinion just a neat looking locomotive and in silver with a red warbonnet is sharp. There are only 3 pictures which are small of the Erie-builts which didnt last long on the roster. Most pictures were taken in California but a number of pictures at Dearborn Station highlight the station switchers of ALCO and Fairbanks-Morse. 99% of my listings are NEW BOOKS still in the printers shrink wrap. Defective DVDs will be replaced by the same title if available. Since most of my books are in NEW CONDITION opened and thumbed through titles become used and up to a 20 percent re-stocking/used charge will apply. Return shipping costs will be the customer's responsibility.

Shipping Terms

Books, DVDs and CDs will ship Media Mail in the United States unless the customer chooses Priority Mail. International orders will ship USPS First Class Mail International (4 lbs. or less) or USPS Priority Mail International (greater than 4 lbs.) or via DHL and their agents (when cost is less than the postal carriers). International shipping costs are based on books weighing 1 pound as ABE bases shipping on the number of items not the weight of the book. The carriers charge by weight. If your book order is heavy or over sized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required.

Most orders ship in 1-2 business days. Shipping times cannot be guaranteed especially with the pandemic. Transit times are only estimates based on the carriers' stated delivery times, and do not include Customs processing for International orders.
