[Likely Saratoga Springs: Journal Steam Print.[ers] ca. 1885.] 3, [1] pp., bifolium. 6¼ x 4 inches. Small losses and tears to edges; very good. In this promotional brochure, a single sheet folded once to form three pages, the Saratoga Flat Rock Spring is described as "one of the oldest of the many mineral fountains of Saratoga," with Dr. Chandler’s analysis stating the water supports digestion and helps kidney conditions. An internal date of 1884 appears alongside mention of Reuben Merchant, the property owner, and John B. Hall, "a veteran spring digger.".
