LeeAnn Setzer has a degree in speech-language pathology and a passion for writing. Though not many of her friends share both her major interests, she sees a common thread: communicating and helping others to do so.
She has served as the editor of The Leading Edge magazine of science fiction and fantasy.
She also enjoys gardening with plants native to her area. She recently killed (on purpose) all the grass in her side yard and planted a "forest" of two-foot-tall trees there. She and her husband, Steve, are raising a family of three children who, not surprisingly, talk a lot. They live in Springville, Utah.
