About this Item
"Orange cloth hardcover, no dust jacket, 310 pages. Good condition, cover soil, owner's signature & sticker, discolored page edges. It begins, "There were three beds in the nursery, besides the crib…Nurse's by the door. Oddly enough, though the bed belonged to Nurse, one very rarely saw her in it. When the children went to sleep it was empty, and when they got up in the morning, although the clothes were tumbled, it was still empty. If one awoke in the unfamiliar silence of the night, and cried out, Nurse stirred in her bed, and said: 'What's the matter? Be quiet and go to sleep.' So they knew that she did get into it sometimes.". Seller Inventory # 15007
