Hardcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. 1st Edition. Forward by Elspeth Huxely. Signed with gift inscription by the author, Prince Modupe, dated Feb 24th 1971. First edition. Hardcover with dust jacket (DJ). DJ condition is Good, book condition is Good+. Edges of text block tanned and lightly foxed. Binding a bit stiff but firm and robust. Hinges good. There's a stip of blue ink on the publication page. Pages are clean, and clear of writing, markings, highlighting, etc. Spine has a notable foreward lean to it. A few dings on hardcover board edges. Bottom corners of board rubbed. Front board has a bit of a concave warp to it. DJ has rip on top of spine; DJ rubbed and bumped on corners and top/bottom of spine; edges of DJ rubbed; DJ flaps tanned and lightly foxed around edges. Small dampstain on middle of spine of DJ.
