Beginning in Chapter One, You Are Not Alone!, the reader is helped from feeling isolated. After A Short Lesson in Spinal Anatomy (Chapter Two), the reader is taken on a visit with a specialist. The book provides a wealth of information about diagnostic testing, common spinal disorders, pain management, physical and alternative therapies, and surgery.
Throughout the book medical terms are not only defined but also, phonetically spelled. The last chapter is a Glossary of Terms compiled for quick and easy reference. In addition, the book utilizes over twenty-five visual illustrations designed to benefit the average person.
