About the Author
Doris L. Young, Ph.D. is a nurse with an undergraduate degree in Psychology, a master s degree in Health Care Administration, a doctorate degree in Health Care Ministry and a Ph.D. in Pastoral Psychology. Dr. Young has been a nurse for 30 years and has served in surgical and trauma units and behavioral units at major hospitals. She is the past-president of the National Speakers Association of Virginia, and listed in Who's Who in Professional Speaking. A healthcare coach, speaker, and author, Dr. Young's mission is to help organizations inspire loyalty. Her goal is to control the high cost and quality issues associated with high turnover and retention in healthcare. For many years, Dr. Young has taught people within healthcare and other industries how to deal with stress and experience fulfillment in their work and personal life.
