Save Her

A snowbound small-town crime thriller that strands a woman on a frozen mountain road and sends one determined officer into the storm after her. Survival suspense and police procedural grit in the Oregon mountains.

A Killer Storm. A Missing Woman. A Long Way From Help.

A New Year’s Eve party is the perfect chance for Audrey Drummond to reconnect with old friends, and she hitches a ride with her high school ex. What begins as a trip down memory lane ends as a stone-cold nightmare when Audrey is abandoned on a mountain road: bitter cold, black as sin, miles from help.

Audrey’s disappearance thrusts Officer Lacey James into action. With few clues to go on and the storm growing more treacherous by the minute, the search takes a dark and perilous turn. And the weather isn't the only thing on that mountain trying to kill.

Save Her is the second book in the Lacey James small-town crime thriller series and winner of the 2022 Next Generation Indie Book Award for best novella, for readers who love survival suspense, snowbound settings and small-town police procedurals. Perfect for fans of Kendra Elliot, Melinda Leigh and Lisa Regan.
