Saving the Music
A Gripping World War II Historical Fiction Novel of Resistance, Survival, and the Transformative Power of Music

Italy, Winter 1942.
As the shadow of Nazi terror spreads across Europe, a small band of Jewish musicians flees persecution—finding unlikely refuge in Bellafortuna, a remote Sicilian village where music still echoes through the olive groves and faith runs deep.

Inspired by true events, Saving the Music tells the unforgettable story of ordinary villagers who risk everything to shelter the innocent—armed only with compassion, courage, and the redemptive power of art.

With covert help from the Vatican and the unwavering loyalty of their protectors, the musicians survive—until German troops arrive in Sicily. As danger closes in, the villagers must make an impossible choice: comply and survive, or resist and risk it all.
