Saviour of Angels

Ana spends the first 10 years of her life living with her mum, dad and older brother Peter in an idyllic setting. But when tragedy strikes and her dad is killed, she is thrust into a world she never knew existed - one of angels, ancient magic and dark forces stirring in the shadows.

She soon discovers it’s up to her to save the angels. But how can one ordinary, clueless girl take on such a mission? A girl who relies on others to tell her what to do.

With danger lurking at every turn and the forces of greed and darkness growing ever stronger, Ana must rely on new, magical friendships to guide her. Alongside Elves, fairies, angels giants, broad shouldered warriors and creatures who can shimmer and shift shape so you can see right through them, Ana journeys through the breathtaking world of Fayrewynd Isle.

But will she learn to believe in herself before it’s too late? And could Peter, her brother, hold the key to her destiny?

The first book in The Awakening Angels Trilogy. A spellbinding fantasy for readers aged 8-15 - particularly those confident at reading - and for anyone who is young at heart. Full of adventure, magic, courage and unforgettable characters. Perfect for readers who love fantasy, friendship, and getting lost in other worlds.

Trigger warning: Ana and Peter’s journey begins after the loss of their father. Throughout the trilogy, the story touches on themes of grief, healing, and courage as each member of the family finds their own way through loss.

I live in Plymouth with my husband and two children. I love nature, festivals, the arts and being outdoors, especially wild swimming and paddleboarding - anything involving the sea. I have always loved writing and being creative and, when I was younger, I loved to escape to a fantasy world by reading books. I would sometimes read throughout the night as I'd get carried away with it! However, I did find that I wanted more books involving female characters as the heroine. In my adult life, when my children were born, I imagined the fantasy world I've depicted in this book and the story then evolved over time in my mind, but I just didn't have time to write it. However, once my children were both of school age, I had a couple of days a week to focus on getting it all down on paper and I loved every minute of it. The more I immersed myself in this world and the plot of the story, the more I developed the characters and storyline; resulting in my first ever books (but definitely not my last).
