Scott Turansky and Joanne Miller started Effective Parenting, Inc., eight years ago to meet the needs of the families through teaching, writing and counseling. The father of five children, Turansky loves to bring practical solutions to everyday problems. Miller, the mother of two, is a pediatric nurse and home-schooling mom.
