About the Author

I’ve earned degrees in race, history, and culture at Stanford (A.B.) and Northwestern (PhD) Universities and taught at Cornell, Dickinson and Franklin & Marshall for over a decade. I love to lead workshops based on the 5 strategies of the H.E.A.R.T. that I introduce in Say the Wrong thing.
