Saying Goodbye When Loved Ones Cross Over

Would you like to help a young child who is sad and confused about the death of a loved one or cherished pet? In this beautifully illustrated book, a young boy talks about his feelings after the death of his grandfather. Best read with an adult, this is also a keepsake journal. It encourages a nondenominational discussion about death, and allows children to process their feelings through journaling, doodling, and using pictures. This book removes the fear surrounding death and replaces it with beautiful images and memories. www.DeniseMMurphy.com

That experience led me to work as a designer for childrens learning materials, and finally as a book illustrator. I like this most because I can be creative and help children to enjoy stories.
