Scarred Pasts (Scarred Pasts Trilogy)

Annabelle Lee Montgomery was your average teen with her whole life ahead of her and a promising future as a ballerina. Was. After being attacked on her way to meet up with some friends, young Annabelle's life changed forever; in a way that not even she would ever dream to expect. Defying the laws of nature, and with some help from some newfound friends, she finds the strength to go on stronger and more confident than ever before, but with a million questions still plaguing her mind. Now, Annabelle is a girl on a mission; to hunt down her attacker before he can hurt anyone else (and try to keep her sanity in the process). While this story is heavy with dark humor and sweet moments, it also contains dark themes such as abuse, death and attempted suicide. If you are easily triggered by things of this nature, I would suggest leaving this book where you found it. Scarred Pasts is written to reflect the real world and turmoil that so many endure; under the veil of a simple fantasy story of a girl on a mission.
