Scars Do Not Limit Function

Your scars are not proof of defeat—they are evidence of grace.

At seven years old, Precious Toe fled through the forests of war-torn Liberia, holding tightly to her father's hand as gunfire echoed behind them. That moment marked the beginning of a journey filled with loss, displacement, rejection, heartbreak, survival, and ultimately, redemption.

In Scars Do Not Limit Function, Precious shares her deeply personal story of overcoming the wounds of war, abandonment, domestic abuse, single motherhood, and life's many hidden battles. With honesty, courage, and unwavering faith, she reveals how God transformed her deepest pain into purpose and her scars into a testimony of hope.

More than a memoir, this book is a journey of healing. Through powerful reflections, spiritual insights, and practical encouragement, readers will discover that their past does not have to define their future. Every wound carries the possibility of restoration, every setback can become a stepping stone, and every scar can become evidence of God's grace.

Whether you are navigating grief, trauma, rejection, disappointment, or simply searching for renewed hope, this book will remind you that your story is not over.

You are not disqualified by what you have endured.

You are not defined by what tried to break you.

And your scars do not limit your function—they may be the very thing God uses to reveal it.
