19 x 29 cm. 14 full page images. Original cloth with decorative label on front board. Contains full page photographs of images of the Duke of York's visit to Simonstown, South Africa, August,1901. Hand-written note on each image describing features of interest, e.g. the 3rd South Stafforshire Regiment marching into Simonstown, July 1902, prisoners of war on their way to the Belle View Camp, inspecting the guard, inside the prisoners' camp, city scenes such as of Durban, etc. Includes a number of photographs of Zulu men and women in their traditional dress, including warriors with weapons.
