Early seven page movable toy book. Extremely rare. Dean and Son is listed on front cover but Frederick A. Stokes, New York is listed as publisher on title page. Moveable parts are no longer working but most appear to be present. Color illustrated. Illustrated cover is still bright. Interior shows some wear but there are no previous owner markings. This circus themed movable book contains: funny man on his head, dancing dog with clean, clowns donkey ride, clown and his performing pig (missing). circa 1880s. Dean and Son was the first publisher to produce movable books on a large scale. A great find for any collector.
