About the Author

Bob Wolfe is a native Hoosier, born November 21, 1926 in Bedford, Indiana. His family moved to Columbus in May 1930 and lived there until February 1942. His awakening awareness developed against a background of major changes in the socio-economic condition of our country. His sense of values was shaped during these unprecedented days. He was a witness to the unfolding panorama of unprecedented national and world events. For some, the depression was an inconvenience, for others it was actually life threatening!This book is a personal historic perspective of the period. An earlier book, "Beyond Braveheart" was historic in nature, but genealogical in form.
