About the Author

Stephan M. Silverman, Ph.D., is former Director of Assessment and Behavioral Services for the Weinfeld Education Group. He was a school psychologist in the Montgomery County Public Schools system in Maryland for 30 years and has maintained a private practice in Maryland since 1975.

Rich Weinfeld is a national leader in the education of gifted children with learning difficulties. Weinfeld was instrumental in coordinating the Montgomery County, MD, gifted and learning-disabled program and is currently an educational advocate in the Washington, DC, metropolitan area.
