If you are a fan and reader of science fiction, prepare to be startled, informed and entertained by this "collection of essays about the interface between science fiction and reality." This book is in near fine condition, marred only by light wear on its spine ends. Its binding is sound and square, with no spine crease. Covers are unmarked and otherwise unworn, with bright gilt titles on its spine. Pages are unmarked and unworn. Its dust jacket, now protected by a removable mylar cover, is also in near fine condition: whole, bright, and unmarked, with traces of wear on its spine ends, but otherwise unworn. I will ship this book in moisture resistant packaging, padded in bubble cushion, inside a sturdy box to assure it reaches its new owner in the same condition as my description.

All shipments will be via US Postal Service unless requested otherwise. Standard shipping within the USA will be via USPS Media Mail. Priority shipping within the USA will be via USPS First Class Mail.
My current Standard shipping rate within the USA is US$4.00 for the first book, and US$2.00 for additional books in the same order.
There are two situations where I will refund to the buyer a portion of the postage charged by ABEBOOKS: (1) Separate orders placed on the same date for shipment to the same address will be shipped together, so I will refund half of the postage paid for the first book in each such second and subsequent order. And (2) Books described as "paperbacks" in my descriptions weigh less than other books, so I will refund US$1.00 of the paid shipping fee for the 2nd and subsequent paperbacks in the same order shipping to the same address.
