Bound in later but not recent full brown Morrocco in a french style binding by F Loraine, signed to inner rear cover front edge. With gilt tooled patterned boards and decorated spine, light rubbing to edges. A vg â " copy of the william Greeners second book. A work on ancient guns and arms, gunpowder, artillery, iron for gun barrels, proof of barrels , gun making and the science of gunnery barrels, its application to rifle and musket, shot, caps and wadding, with a final chapter on whale shooting with Greeners harpoon guns.
