This book is a journal of the science of treating and preserving healthy hair. It speaks about the conditioning of natural hair and chemically treated hair as well. It also speaks of the composition of hair, the reading of the ph scale, the reasons hair damage occurs and the ingredients of hair products such as shampoos, conditioners and treatements.

Chuck is an international educator, lecturer and speaker in the beauty industry and has a trademark for healthy hair education,color education and haircutting. He has dedicated much of his career to his passion of educating stylists about the science of preserving the hair. Chuck resides on the east coast in Richmond, VA.
