Scientific Book Club edition hardback, published by George Allen and Unwin 1952, with unclipped jacket. In overall good used condition with minor signs of age, handling and storage - dust jacket rubbed to edges (now protected); yellow cloth boards bumped to front upper rh corner but remain overall clean and crisp. Internally clean. Binding tight and appears little read; no annotation or inscriptions; slight foxing to page-ends and prelims but text and illustrations bright and clear throughout. Not an old library book.
