This book contains an exact replica of the original text of The Science of Mind written by Ernest Homes in 1926. This text was out of print for sixty years (1938 to 1998). It has been reprinted by popular demand because so many students of Science of Mind wanted to read the portions of the book omitted by editors from the revised, current edition. This book is in Ernest Holmes' own writing, as he put it down, himself.

About the Author
Ernest Shurtleff Holmes was born on January 21, 1887 near Lincoln, Maine. Dr. Holmes began high school in Bethel, Maine. When he was fifteen years old, he ended his traditional education and, for the rest of his life, became a self-taught student of philosophy, literature, science, spiritual thought, and metaphysical writings of the eminent leaders in those fields. Ernest Holmes began synthesizing the universal truths from these studies, from ancient times to his day, into what later became The Science of Mind. Dr. Holmes began to speak about these ideas to appreciative and growing audiences, and eventually founded the Institute of Religious Science and School of Philosophy. The Institute later bacame the Church of Religious Science, which he mentored and ministered until the end of his life. Ernest Holmes left his physical body 1n 1960 at the age of 73, after a long, successful life of helping thousands find a new life of joy and peace. He leaves a legacy of Spiritual Truth, Wholeness, and Love which will live forever through his numerous books, papers, articles, and sermons.
