One of several books in the Iroquois Science Series. Note that the rear boards carry the information that “This Book Is Presented to Your School System for Examination by Supervisors and Teachers. Sample Copy – Not To Be Sold.” Further information about the book is neatly pasted into the front pastedown. The blue boards with black and white drawing of a seabird and icebergs are excellent, with only light wear at the corners and edges and at the head and tail of the spine. The interior is very clean and tight, with many b/w and color illustrations and photos. 378 pgs. A very unusual and scarce copy.
