The Scorpion's Tale

He was born and bred to kill, and he was the perfect weapon. A soulless assassin and master of disguise, never leaving anything to chance. He patiently and meticulously hunted his prey, studying their comings and goings, their habits, work schedules, families, social life, and travel routes to determine the most favorable time and place to strike. He also used his vast intelligence network to help him always stay one step ahead of his victims.

This night, however, his information had been flawed. He was advised his two intended victims would be the only occupants of the house. After killing them, he had been surprised by two unexpected occupants in the dark hallway. He reacted with unconscious thought and instinctively raised his gun and fired. Only then, as both lay beneath him on the floor, did he realize he had killed a pregnant woman and a small child, both unexpected guests. There was nothing he could do for them.

Now, he is being hunted by Steven Capresi, a husband and father, for the murders of his wife and children. An eye for any eye. A continent away, another family is slaughtered. A beautiful daughter teams with a Mafia enforcer on her own quest to find the killer. This is a story of revenge and redemption, hunter and hunted, good versus evil. A game of cat and mouse, trust and betrayal. Who is "good," who is "evil,"? An international thriller.
