Michell Plested has written a zombie story with several unusual twists and turns. It gives another perspective on the traditional zombie stories that are already out there. Being a big fan of zombie books, series and movies there is not much that can still surprise me, but Scouts of the Apocalypse did just that. Scouts of the Apocalypse is fast-paced and it kept me on the edge of my seat. It's a gripping and thrilling story about a group of young boys with their scout leaders, who have to fight their way through the zombie herds to get home. If you're still looking for a great Halloween read, I'll definitely recommend this great zombie story
