Twelve year old Harry's quiet life has been interrupted by war, with his father being sent to London. A Royal Air Force fighter squadron has been stationed in the field next to his family's farm, and Harry is amazed by the pilots and planes on the base. In his mission to be accepted into their group, Harry learns the true meaning of friendship.

About the Author

Don Patterson - 38 year old entrepreneur - holds BA's in Chemistry, Biology and Philosophy from University of Minnesota (Morris) as well as a MBA from the University of St. Thomas (St. Paul, MN). After 11 successful years as founder and owner of Independent Technology Systems - a printed circuit board servicing company. He sold the company. While searching for books with topics that might interest his then 7 year old son, the search turned up two things..his sons interest in WW II aircraft and the 12 year old that is inside us all. This was the basis for the start of an adventure that has now become a labor of love. His goal to get boys to start reading early and often! The first book is dedicated to his son Ian. Don, his wife Joan and his children Ian (9) and Elaine (4)reside in Eden Prairie, Minnesota.
