Scramble! (Tales of the Raf)

During the Battle of Britain, twelve-year-old Harry Winslow, who lives next door to a Royal Air Force base, makes friends with the crews of the fighter planes, who wonder who has been doing mysterious favors for them.

Don Patterson - 38 year old entrepreneur - holds BA's in Chemistry, Biology and Philosophy from University of Minnesota (Morris) as well as a MBA from the University of St. Thomas (St. Paul, MN). After 11 successful years as founder and owner of Independent Technology Systems - a printed circuit board servicing company. He sold the company. While searching for books with topics that might interest his then 7 year old son, the search turned up two things..his sons interest in WW II aircraft and the 12 year old that is inside us all. This was the basis for the start of an adventure that has now become a labor of love. His goal to get boys to start reading early and often! The first book is dedicated to his son Ian. Don, his wife Joan and his children Ian (9) and Elaine (4)reside in Eden Prairie, Minnesota.
