In very good condition with very good dustwrapper (dw; Some minor rubbing to edges and ends of spine. Not price clipped. In protective sleeve.) Cloth slightly faded. Mild foxing spots to outer page edges. Some tanning to endpapers. No inscriptions. Else a clean and tight copy. 218pp. With a colour frontis plate and many B&W illustrations. Selected passages and illustrations from contemporary writings illustrating life in English Inns in the 18th and 19th centuries.
