? Condition (Very Strong for Age)
This book is in very nice vintage condition, especially considering its age:
Covers:
Clean and solid red cloth boards
Light, even handling wear only
No stains, very light scuffing, very light discoloration in certain areas of the cover, no structural damage
Gilt lettering and microphone emblem remain bright and clear
Please note - The primary flaw is on the inside rear cover, where there is visible wear/damage (see last 2 photos). Interior pages are otherwise clean and highly readable, with light age toning throughout.
Spine:
Tight and straight
Title and volume number are fully legible
No cracking or looseness
Corners & Spine:
Corners remain firm and well-shaped with only light, expected softening at the tips. Spine edges show minor surface rubbing and slight softness consistent with age, but there is no fraying, cracking, or splitting. The spine is solid, straight, and fully intact, with bright, legible gilt.
Pages:
All pages intact and firmly bound
The page edges show natural age darkening and a few small spots, consistent with a well-stored vintage book rather than damage. Endpapers exhibit mild discoloration near the edges, again typical for the era and not intrusive.
Condition summary: Very Good vintage condition with honest age wear; structurally sound, clean, and visually impressive for its era.
Overall, this is a well-preserved, clean example that displays beautifully in anyone's library.
