Off Script

Life is great when it goes our way. We delight in the comfort of things unfolding the way we planned. As we dream, we write the outcomes we think are best for ourselves. We embellish them with success and happiness along the way. But what do we do when life goes off script?

This book holds the story of Betsy Cloyd’s journey to trust God when life took a totally unexpected turn. Her lifelong dream was to become a mom. She had a beautiful plan of what that would look like and then things began to unfold in a dramatically different fashion, as she and her husband received a life changing diagnosis for their unborn baby.

As she weaves the lessons she’s learned along the way into the story of the diagnosis and birth of her firstborn child, honesty, hope, and evidence of miracles are revealed. Their journey is one of learning to trust God when His plan seemed to clash with their own. This book unveils a tapestry of grief and gratitude as Betsy shares both the pain and beauty that unfolded when life went off script.
