The Scriptural Evidence of the Redeemer's Speedy Personal Return and Reign During the Millenium

The Scriptural Evidence Of The Redeemer's Speedy Personal Return And Reign During The Millenium by James A. Begg. This work presents a connected argument for the premillennial return of Christ and a literal, earthly reign that follows, focusing on Scriptural evidence rather than speculative interpretation. Begg compiles extensive passages from the Old and New Testaments, including prophecies concerning the conversion and restoration of Israel, the enlargement of the Holy Land, the rebuilding of Jerusalem and the temple, and the appearance of the Redeemer with glorified saints to establish a kingdom over all nations. He argues for a literal fulfilment of prophecies, critiques allegorical readings, and discusses the role of Israel in the Millennium, the salvation of Gentiles, and the ultimate destruction of Antichrist. The volume includes sections on the New Jerusalem, the new heavens and earth, the first resurrection and reign of the saints, and the timing of these events in relation to the Apocalypse. It aims to demonstrate the coherence of prophecy and to provoke careful examination of biblical expectations about Christ's speedy return and reign.
