(circa 1869) Hard cover with no SJ as issued. Red buckram; ornately decorated with gold gilt and illustration of flowers. Gold gild to front and page edges. Missing spine cover. Bumped at corners with fraying. Chips to front. 6 full plate steel engravings (black and white) with protective tissue. Erasure to front end page, upper corner missing. End pages plain yellow paper.
