The exotic illustrations in this remarkable collection were selected from one of the most prized natural history books of all time. Compiled by an eighteenth-century pharmacist, the images of shells, fish, starfish, coral, plants, and other forms of sea life were part of an unprecedented four-volume catalog that was a work of art in its own right. Included in the present collection are a CD-ROM containing 583 high-quality, royalty-free designs, scanned at 300 dpi and saved in TIFF format, perfect for use with all the most popular programs and a large-format 48-page book with every image on the CD-ROM printed large and clearly on one side of the page only and numbered for easy reference
Also included on the CD-ROM is Dover Design Manager, a simple graphics editing program for Windows.
Ideal for use by hobbyists in a host of craft projects, these detailed drawings will be of special value to commercial artists and illustrators.
