Les spent most of the 1950s and 1960s writing for science fiction and other magazines as Les Collins, T.H. Mathieu, Richard Royale, and others. He then started his own advertising agency and wrote scientific and industrial copy for the next two decades. During that period, he fell in love with prehistoric Cretan and Greek culture. Vacations took place at archaeological sites on the Greek mainland and the various islands.
Eventually Les went back to work for advertising agencies. His career is distinguished, aside from copywriting awards, by the fact that he was fired from some of the finest ad agencies in Los Angeles. The last separation from a regular job propelled him into writing an ancient Greek dynastic trilogy based on all those years of research and investigation into Minoan and Mycenaean culture. The Sea Kings: The Prophecy is the first volume of that trilogy. Each book is complete and stands alone.
Les is now working on the fourth book in the trilogy, and, when completed, it will automatically make the Guinness records.
