About the Author
Drew Lamm is a naturalist as well as a writer. She has taught at Glen Helen Outdoor Education Center in Ohio, Clairemount Field Centre in Canada, and on Cape Cod, leading studies in ocean life. She relishes time spent on Vancouver Island, where sea lions flourish. She has been "kissed" by a captive sea lion and kayaked past sea lions in the wild. Drew has taught life science, English, and drama. Currently, she does school visits, teaches writing classes, and plays with her daughter. Her additional writing credits include Cotton at Clover Crescent, Woodchuch at Blackberry Road, and Screech Owl at Midnight Hollow all for Soundprints' Smithsonian's Backyard. Drew lives with her husband, Steve, and daughter, Ellery Rose, in Rowayton, Connecticut.
