This is the 1871 printing, NOT a modern reprint. Smallish book (12mo. 7 inches tall). Light wear to the binding, mostly to the top of the spine. No slope, no twist, no distortion from reading or improper shelving. Pages are essentially tight (there are minor splits at the gutter at pp 162/163 and pp 174/175) and clean with no marks. No name of previous owner. No musty odor. No tobacco odor. No water damage. No soiling. No sun fading.
