'Happiness is the great thing in this world. We each are free to seek it according to our own desires. If wealth is the main contributing factor, then the quickest route would appear to be via Monte Carlo, since all roads lead there. The old saying: (Cade Napoli epoi more) "See Naples and die," might now be cheerfully altered to: "See Monte and live."' Bright yellow covers, with the color faded and dull on the spine. Top edge stained red. Bumping to the corners and top and tail of the spine, with fraying to the tail. Color plates depicting the roulette wheel, the roulette table and a table of the voisins in red and black, as well as other diagrams and tables. Minor foxing throughout. [1-7] 8-262 (plates between [6] and [7] . 13.5 x 19.5 cm.
