About the Author
DukeSaganich was born in Croatia and came to the United States when he was eight. Thefamily moved to new locations every 2 to 3 years. He believes it was thislifestyle, along with his constant longing for something more, which facilitatedhis search into spirituality. Throughout his life his interests focused onresearch in the fields of eastern and western religions, philosophy,psychology, mysticism, martial arts, shamanism, mythology and meditation. In1995 he was diagnosed with a rare progressive hereditary eye disease calledRetinitis Pigmentosa. He is considered legally blind. He retired at age 62 andis living in Upstate New York with his wife Ellie.
